Electrabel has launched a project which is to transform the service organization into a more flexible and efficient entity, driven by change processes which in turn are fed with information about programs, dependencies between projects and infrastructure data. For the basis of this organization Electrabel has opted for HP tooling consisting of Service Manager, PPM, Release Control and uCMDB. The interconnections between these has been put into place by employing federation (uCMDB) and Connect-IT, an HP product which supports data extraction and transformation using scripted adapters. |
